ae Increased fluorescence in dose-dependent manner was observed due to Smac release and simultaneous apoptosis of SiHa-mCherry cells, treated with aqueous plant extract (7.5, 15, 30 µg/mL) for 24 h, while no Smac release was observed in control cells (400 × magnification). The increase in fluorescence in case of cisplatin treated cells was almost comparable to the effect observed in plant extract treated cells
