Photomicrographs are taken under 400X magnification. a NC—Shows normal histological structure of rat aorta. b DC—Experimental rat aorta shows showed foam cell deposition hemorrhagic streak and fibrous deposition deposition in endothelial layer. c Atorvastatin (STD)—Atorvastatin shows reduction in foam cell deposition and fibrous deposition in endothelial layer. d EATC (100 mg/kg)—Oral administration of 100 mg/kg of EATC for 20 days in experimental rats shows slight changes in foam cell deposition and fibrous. e EATC (200 mg/kg)—Treatment with 200 mg/kg of EATC shows improvement in histological structure.
