Actual vs predicted plot of SE-CHEM for the responses A practical yield Y, B zeta potential ZP and C particle size PS. After 32 full factorial design was applied and model was run. In all the Actual vs predicted plots both actual and predicted values are quite close to each other. Here, the low RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) values in Y, ZP and PS plots indicated the model is significant and fits the data well. The R Squared (R2) values in Y, ZP and PS plots predicts the percentage of the relationship between independent variables [CH (chitosan–EDTA ratio) and DT (Drying temp.)] and dependent variables (Y, ZP and PS). These plots depicted 96%, 83% and 94% relationship between the independent variables and Y, ZP and PS, respectively. P value less than 0.05 showed all the model is statistically significant for Y, ZP and PS
